Residents and visitors alike are invited to gather along the parade route and enjoy an evening of patriotic pride\, community spirit\, and family-friendly entertainment. \nOur nation’s 250th anniversary\, provides a unique opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history while celebrating the vibrant communities that make it special\,” said Laura Herrington\, Executive Director of the Indiana County Tourist Bureau. “We are excited to bring people together in Indiana County for this memorable event.” \n“This parade is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate America while showcasing the spirit\, pride\, and unity of our downtown and surrounding communities\,” said Sam Kenly\, Executive Director of Downtown Indiana. “We invite everyone to join us in creating a truly memorable and festive experience for all.” \nThe parade will begin at 10th Street and travel along Philadelphia Street to 5th Street\, offering ample viewing opportunities throughout downtown. The event will feature a variety of participants\, including local organizations\, businesses\, performers\, first responders\, and community groups\, all coming together to honor this historic milestone. \nAll Indiana County municipalities\, townships\, school districts\, local businesses\, churches\, and community organizations are encouraged to take part.

SUMMARY:Indiana Borough House Decorating Competition
DESCRIPTION:Brighten up our community & spark some holiday cheer!\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Join in the fun of our first annual House-Decorating Competition presented by Luke’s Landscaping and Tree Service.  Show off your festive creativity! Whether you go simple & elegant or full-on sparkle\, we invite residents of Indiana Borough to light up the season. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n					\n						How it Works:\n						\nDecorate your home’s exterior (and/or yard) during the contest period.\nParticipants are limited to homes inside the Borough of Indiana\, PA.\nRegister with Downtown Indiana by December 6.  Entry fee is $50.  \nParticipants will receive a $50 voucher for Luke’s Landscaping and Tree Service.\nParticipants will be provided with a yard sign to advertise their house as in the competition – signs can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce Office (1019 Philadelphia St)\nVoting will take place December 8 – December 22.\nWinners will be announced on December 23.  Top 3 ranked houses will receive cash prizes courtesy of Luke’s Landscaping and Tree Service.\nAll funds raised go to support the It’s a Wonderful Life Festival.\n\n					\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Voting Closed\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Registration & Questions:\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				For more information or to register your home for the contest\, contact Sam Kenly at sam.kenly@downtownindianapa.org \n			\n				House Registration Form (PDF)
